The Kaminski Family has called Poway home since 1961. Stan and June Kaminski, along with daughter Marsha and the rest of the Kaminski family, will be opening Kaminski’s BBQ in the heart of Poway. Kaminski’s will offer Poway its first authentic BBQ House with Southern Hospitality!

Our BBQ Has Some Roots

June Kaminski was raised on a farm in Washington North Carolina, which is famous for its “Hog Heaven” slow smoked pulled pork, served with a clear vinegar based sauce. June’s Daddy, Edward Hardison, a farmer, cured and slow smoked beef, chicken and pork in his barns serving up delicious BBQ for the hungry farm hands. June was called Miss June by her Daddy and she not only developed a love of savory BBQ from him but Southern Manners and Hospitality as well. >>read more
